The Association of Enterprise Architects has an International Committee on Enterprise Architecture Standards. The a|EA Standards Committee serves two purposes:
1. Develop and promote international standards on enterprise architecture; and
2. Build, manage and expand an EA knowledgebase.
Tyson Brooks, Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, is the chairman of the committee.
Other members are:
Haiping Luo - Chief Architect, International Trade Administration, US Dept of Commerce
Klaus D. Niemann - CEO of act! consulting GmbH, Germany
Hong Sik Kim - taskforce system, EA senior consultant, South Korea
Ben Bovée - EA Consultant
Mark Lane - Principle Enterprise Architect, United States of America
The a|EA Standards Committee promotes the principle of openness and participation. We invite all EA professionals to participate in our effort to advance EA Body of Knowledge.
The a|EA Standards Committee has just started two projects:
AEA-A-2005-1: Building an EA Knowledge Digest (completed building, on-going enrichment)
AEA-A-2005-2: Developing an Enterprise Architecture Management Guide (Drafting)
We are looking for participation from the EA community to bring expertise and wisdom to these projects.
